Charlie Drew Johnson (b. 2002 in Minneapolis, MN) is a composer, performer, and educator based in Eugene, OR. Johnson’s music explores an eclectic range of styles for a variety of ensembles and solo instruments, as well as electroacoustic music. Johnson holds a bachelor’s degree in music education from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, and they are currently pursuing a master’s degree in music composition under Dr. Robert Kyr at the University of Oregon. Their primary teachers also include Bo Atlas and Dr. Benjamin Dean Taylor.
